We completed two bridge preservation projects for the Nebraska Department of Transportation concurrently. In total, we repaired five bridges, installed a waterproof membrane, laid asphalt, and installed new bridge joints. These projects were highly visible to the public along the I-80/I-680 corridor and required significant overnight traffic switches. Adhering to NDOT’s accelerated bridge construction contract, we utilized precast concrete approaches and crews worked 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to complete all I-80 EB work within the time allotted.
