Sheldon Hall

Originally built in the early 1970's, Sheldon Hall is a 30,000 square-foot dormitory on the campus of Doane College. Hawkins Construction performed a complete renovation of this four-level building in only three months so work could be completed while students were on summer break.

Exterior renovations consisted of replacement of the entire roof, gutters and downspouts; installation of all new Pella windows; and restoration of all brick and stone restoration. Hawkins also installed retaining walls, stamped and colored concrete patios, and an exterior fireplace.

"Hawkins Construction Company has been a vital partner in building some of Nebraska's most iconic transportation projects — like the West Dodge elevated expressway and the Interstate 80 six-lane between Omaha and Lincoln. Hawkins’ teams consistently help solve problems on-site, create accurate documents, and minimize unnecessary changes — all at extremely competitive prices.”
